Many times, when we create a chart and our numbers are quite big then our data labels on the chart are not proper readable. In that case we can change the number format of data label of the charts in millions or thousands according to our numbers Dynamic Number Format.
To change the number format of data labels just right click on Chart and click on Format data labels. Go to the numbers and put the 0.0,,“M” in Format Code box.

Change the Vertical Axis number format also. Right click and click on Format axis. put the 0.0,,“M” in Format Code box and click on add.
Revenue format will be changed on the chart but in excel table it will be still old one.
You can change the number format on excel table also. To change the number format dynamically in millions and thousand you use below custom format.
[>=1000000]0.0,,"M";[>=1000]0.0,"K";0
